Terms and Conditions for WIMS

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile application WIMS ("App"), developed by Yi Sun ("we", "our", or "us"). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Purpose of the App

WIMS is designed to help users organize and record the storage locations of their personal items through voice input and photos. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

2. User Data and Local Storage

• All data, including photos and voice recordings, is stored locally on your device.
• Users have full control over their stored data and may delete any or all data within the app.
• We do not provide cloud backup or data recovery at this time.

3. Third-Party Services and Advertisements

• The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. These ads are provided by third-party providers and we do not endorse or control their content.
• The App may use Google Cloud Vision API to process images for object recognition. These images are analyzed but not stored on our servers.

4. Disclaimer of Warranty

The App is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the availability, accuracy, or performance of the App. We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from the use of the App, including but not limited to data loss or device malfunction.

5. Changes to the App

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App, or any features thereof, at any time without notice.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. You are encouraged to review this page periodically.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
